Process
Arounda’s primary task was to provide the UX/UI redesign of the XBlock platform, which had over 500k users when the client reached us. Our team had to achieve a better user experience so the audience could interact with numbers and data more conveniently. We had to deliver those services for a Web 3.0 blockchain platform and its mobile version.
Competitor analysis
Our client needed a fresh perspective on XBlock’s user experience from Web 3.0 and blockchain experts. So our team conducted competitor research and reviewed the UX and UI of the existing platform.
App Flow
At the wireframes stage, our team suggested several UI/UX improvement solutions. We also developed a clickable prototype and handed it over to the client to test with users and get feedback. Finally, we decided on the best design option for XBlock.
Moodboard
Through moodboards based on in-depth client interviews, we decided to create a timeless and intuitive design for Xblock. Instead of fleeting trends, we focused on simplicity and clarity with subtle brand recognition elements like branded color palettes and logo-inspired patterns.
Responsive design
Our team has also ensured that the XBlock platform is mobile-optimized. We have created a responsive mobile app design, and now users can access the block explorer from any device.
Web 3.0 Application Design
XBlock is our Web 3 work example that comprises top-notch usability and content readability. Our team worked on the proper data and numbers display when creating the design so that users could easily access and find the necessary information.
Styleguide / Design System
Considering that the platform should have a dark and light theme, we created the design system to shift the ideas to components.
